The People’s Paddocks is the home of MAE Support Services — our main base for delivering a wide range of supports and experiences. Set on 20 acres of peaceful farmland, this is a space where participants can take part in hands-on, meaningful activities in a supportive environment. Alongside our community-based supports, it offers opportunities to learn new skills, connect with animals, and enjoy the outdoors — all at your own pace, with the right support.
• Build practical skills through hands-on woodworking, DIY projects, basic mechanics, small repairs — perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to use tools, fix things, or work on creative projects in a supported setting.
• Develop daily living skills and independence by learning how to prepare meals, follow recipes, and grow fresh produce in our veggie garden — great for building confidence in the kitchen and beyond.
• Enjoy meaningful animal interactions by feeding, grooming, and caring for our friendly alpacas, ponies, goats, chickens, and more — a calming and rewarding way to connect with nature and learn responsibility.
• Create with confidence in our guided art sessions. Uncover hidden talents or create something you will be proud of through various fun projects which are tailored to suit all skillsets and abilities.
